BLUFFTON — An Elida man was taken to the hospital Friday night after crashing his ultralight aircraft.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Steven Taylor, 51, was flying southeast toward the Bluffton Airport when his aircraft struck an electrical wire, causing it to crash land in a field just east of Snyder Road.
Taylor was taken to St. Rita’s Medical Center where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
