Little progress in hit-and-run that killed St. Marys teen

ST. MARYS — The Wapakoneta post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said Monday they are following up on a few tips concerning an incident that killed a 14-year-old St. Marys girl walking down the road Wednesday.

Troopers were still verifying the tips and there has been no other new information from the investigation.

Emily Rempe was walking in the eastbound lane on county Road 33A near Barrington Road at 10:41 p.m. when she was struck by a pickup, the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported. The pickup continued without stopping.
