WAPAKONETA — Wapakoneta Fire and EMS responded to a house fire at 5:59 p.m. Friday.
Firefighters responded after receiving a call reporting the fire at 129 Koneta St. Firefighters found heavy fire to the living room and attic at the residence. No one was home at the time of the fire.
The amount of damage and cause of the fire are still under investigation. The Botkins and Buckland fire departments provided aid at the scene. Firefighters remained at the scene until 8:26 p.m.
