LIMA — The Lima Public Library will hold a surplus furniture sale from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. June 17 and 18 at the library’s garage and back parking lot.
Sale items will include chairs, end tables and other Heywood-Wakefield furniture pieces that were purchased to furnish the library prior to its opening in 1960. Other pieces include an upright piano, bookcases, vintage lamps, display cases and more.
Some items will be “pay and go,” while others will be sold via silent auction.
