LIMA — Lima has been chosen as a host city for Chalk It Up to Safety in observance of International Level Crossing Awareness Day.
An event will be hosted from 10 a.m. to noon today in front of ArtSpace/Lima in Town Sqaure.
Children age 7 to 13 can participate in a contest for chalking rail safety messages throughout the sidewalks of Lima. Children under age 7 can also participate with an adult or guardian. Student will be divided into groups and assigned a mentor. A chaperone will also be assigned.
