LIMA — St. Rita’s Health Partners announced Thursday that Dale Gisi has been promoted to the role of president at St. Rita’s Medical Center. Gisi will be working alongside Bob Baxter, CEO of the Mercy Health Lima Region.
Gisi joined Mercy Health in 2014 as vice president of operations at the medical center. He was responsible for several clinical and non-clinical areas, including cardiovascular services, surgical services, medical imaging, ambulatory surgery, New Vision Laboratory, physical plant, athletic training, pharmacy, respiratory care, outpatient express testing and LACP. He was also the local executive for behavioral health.
He joined Mercy Health after serving for 13 years with Regional Health in South Dakota. In all, he has more than 22 years of executive and operational healthcare experience. He has a degree in healthcare administration and holds certifications as a senior professional of human resources and a licensed nursing home administrator.
Gisi has also served on various community boards and has held both state and national association leadership positions.
