LIMA — Lima city engineer Kirk Niemeyer announced that Smith Paving and Excavating Inc., will begin work on the All-Lima-Safe Routes to School on Tuesday at the intersections surrounding Heritage Elementary School.
Schools to follow in order will include North Middle, West Junior High, and Unity Elementary. Work will continue through the end of July. Projects include wheelchair ramps, crosswalks, pedestrian signal lights, and school flashers.
