LIMA — Applications are being accepted for inductees for the Lima 6th Ward Hall of Fame, according to 6th Ward Councilman Derry Glenn.
The Hall of Fame, which inducts new members every four years, is a way to recognize those who have lived and invested time and energy into improving Lima’s south side, while hopefully inspiring future generations to follow their example.
Names of potential inductees can be sent to Glenn at P.O. Box 5351, Lima, OH 45802 or by calling Glenn at 419-905-9572 or Vickie Shurelds at 419-204-1252. The inductees will be honored at a dinner March 26 at the Mizpah Community Center, where Glenn hopes a dedicated space for the Hall of Fame can soon be constructed.
