HARROD — The West Central Ohio Crime Task Force on Tuesday served a drug-related search warrant 3205 N. Napoleon Road with the assistance of the Allen County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team.
The homeowner, James Kirtland, was present during the search. A working meth lab and materials used in the manufacturing of methamphetamines were discovered. Kirtland was taken into custody for manufacturing and possession of methamphetamines.
The West Central Ohio Crime Task Force is comprised of officers from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, Lime Police Department, Van Wert County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The incident remains under investigation.
