Man arrested in Celina robbery

CELINA — Detectives are investigating an armed robbery that took place at a home involving two men who know each other.

The incident took place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, when Silas Floyd King, 62, of Celina, allegedly used a pellet gun that looked like a revolver to rob a man of money, Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey said in a press release.

Sheriff detectives found King at a bar and arrested him. Authorities searched King’s house, finding the pellet gun. King is being held in the Mercer County jail on charges of aggravated robbery and felony theft in lieu of a $500,000 bond, Grey said.
