LIMA — The Allen County Veterans Service Commission will be giving veterans vouchers for free turkeys or hams for the holiday season.
Applications will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Nov. 24 and Dec. 14 to 23 at the commission’s office in the Allen County Courthouse, Suite 113. Applicants must bring a copy of their DD214 form showing honorable discharge, along with proof of all household income and all current utility bills.
Vouchers are available to any veteran or widow of a veteran. For details, contact the commission at 419-223-8522.
