LIMA — Rosemary Craig is celebrating her 104th birthday with a week of special activities ending with a family gathering on Sept. 15. Rosemary would appreciate birthday cards sent to her in care of Houser at 09611 National Road, Wapakoneta, OH 45895.
Craig was born Sept. 11, 1920 in Lima to Frank and Rose Frost. On July 3, 1940 she married Odos Charles Craig, who died Sept. 16, 2011.
Craig has two children, Carol (John) Thomas of Tellico Plains, Tennessee and Connie (Robert) Houser of Wapakoneta. She has five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Rosemary currently resides at The Springs, 370 N Eastown Road, Lima. She is known for her active mind and participation in the many activities at The Springs.
Rosemary worked in the family business as a young woman: first, in the office of the Hume Elevator, and then as office manager of Hume Supply, Inc., which built commercial buildings.
She is a member of Bethlehem Christian Union Church. Rosemary has been active in church and community activities all her life.
