Mr. and Mrs. James Benroth
BLUFFTON — Mr. and Mrs. James Benroth are celebrating 50 years of marriage with a family dinner.
Benroth and the former Francene Barnes were married August 17, 1974 at Vaughnsville United Methodist Church in Vaughnsville by the Rev. Clyde Huther and the Rev. Claude Chivington.
They are the parents of three children, Leslie (Noah) Hetrick of Wood County and Jamie Welch and Betsie (Ben) Hill, both of Bluffton. They have six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Benroth is a farmer. He retired from Dow Chemical Co.
His wife assists him on the farm. She retired from Hilty Memorial Home.
