WAPAKONETA — Power crews and officers at the Wapakoneta Police Department did not know the cause of a city-wide power outage that occurred at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday. They don’t believe it was storm releated.
An officer at the Wapakoneta Police Department said crews were exploring the city, trying to locate the origin of the power failure. Officials did not know when power would be restored.
The police department said many residents called to inquire about the outage, and the department asked people to limit calls to emergency situations.
