1200 block of West Robb Avenue, Lima — Officers responded to a report of a rear-end crash Wednesday. The driver that was struck was transported to St. Rita’s Medical Center for neck and back pain by the Lima Fire Department.
401 W. North St., Lima — Officers responded to a report of vandalism Wednesday at the Social Security office in Lima. A man reported that two U.S. Army-owned vehicles were dented on their hoods.
500 block of West Elm Street, Lima — A woman called the LPD to report a theft Wednesday. Someone had stolen her car battery from her car. There was no other reported damage done to her vehicle.
800 block of East Kibby Street, Lima — A woman called LPD to report that someone had poured sugar into her vehicle’s engine Wednesday.
200 block of North Metcalf Street, Lima — A woman called the LPD to report that her purse had been stolen from her vehicle Thursday while she was at work. She said her car may have been unlocked.
Intersection of East Elm and Shawnee streets, Lima — Lima Memorial Health System security notified the LPD of an altercation inside a vehicle between a man and a woman Wednesday. When officers arrived, the woman was found on foot and the vehicle was not found until later on East Third Street in Lima.
800 block of Greenlawn Avenue, Lima — A man told LPD Wednesday that while he was at work, someone broke into the back door of his home and stole items from inside. He suspects it may be someone who knew his schedule.
345 S. Elizabeth St., Lima — Two females were sharing a locker at the Lima Family YMCA Monday when items from their locker was stolen. The locker was reportedly unlocked.
600 block of Fairview Avenue, Lima — A woman reported to the LPD that money was stolen from her vehicle Wednesday.
4900 block of Clum Road, Lima — A man reported that a firearm was stolen from his home Tuesday.
2400 Harding Highway, Lima — The Allen County Sheriff’s Office responded from a theft at Walmart Tuesday. Two people were observed concealing merchandise and left the store without paying for the items.
