LIMA — The Lima Mall will be giving children with special needs the opportunity to get their photo taken with the Easter Bunny from 10:30 a.m. to noon Sunday in the Elder Beerman concourse.
The mall’s Caring Bunny event will allow children to meet the Easter Bunny in a subdued environment, with steps taken to reduce sensory triggers, including turning off in-mall music, dimming area lights and shutting down fountains. Families will be given a numbering system to meet the bunny rather than waiting in line, and special activities will take place during the wait time to help children understand what will occur during the visit.
