Forum addresses human trafficking

LIMA — The League of Women Voters of the Lima Area and the American Association of University Women will offer an informational program on human trafficking at 7 p.m. Monday at Shawnee Community United Methodist Church.

A panel of experts will discuss the problem as it pertains to the Lima area. The event is free.

Donations are being accepted for the Northwest Rescue & Restore Coalition, which works with Crime Victim Services locally to assist victims of human trafficking. Donations may be brought to the meeting or dropped off in the office between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. the church. Cash donations will also be accepted.
