WASHINGTON — U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan announced that the 4th Congressional District of Ohio will participate in the 2015 Congressional Art Competition.

The annual competition allows aspiring artists in high school to compete for the chance to feature a work of art in the U.S. Capitol.

More than 650,000 high school students have been involved with the nationwide competition since 1982.

The 2015 Congressional Art Competition is open to all high school students residing in Ohio’s 4th Congressional District. Each high school within the district may select two winners to compete in the district-wide contest. A district winner will be chosen from the high school winners.

The deadline to participate is March 23. For information, visit http://jordan.house.gov and click on the 2015 Congressional Art Competition banner.
