Esther was born March 2, 1915 to Rena and William Snow. Her family was of four girls and two boys residing in Westminster, Ohio. In February 1934 she married Harry Andrew Dumm and they lived in Lima where they became long time members of The Family of Faith UMC (previously known as Epworth Methodist Church). Esther taught Sunday school classes, Vacation Bible studies, and was an active member of the Women’s Society. They raised three children and were very involved in the community.
Esther continues knitting, crocheting items for others and enjoys reading, watching TV, eating out, going to her weekly gathering of needle crafters and visiting in person and by phone with family and friends.
