O-G rolls past Leipsic; Crestview now 21-0

Ottawa-Glandorf overpowered Leipsic 84-40 in a boys basketball game on Monday night, led by 25 points from Noah Bramlage.

The Titans (13-6) jumped out to a 24-9 lead after one quarter and put the game completely out of reach with 33 points in the third quarter, giving them a 50-point lead heading into the final eight minutes.

Brad Recker had 13 points for O-G. Grant Schroeder, with nine points, was the high scorer for Leipsic (9-9). O-G hit 13 3-pointers in the game.

Celina 60, Marion Local 56

The Bulldogs won in a battle of state-ranked Mercer County teams behind 22 points and 6 assists by Ryan Hoyng.

Dustin Rethman (14 points), Cole Griesdorn (11 points) and Luke Knapke (10 points) led Marion Local.

Celina (17-2) came into the game ranked No. 8 in the state in Division II and Marion Local (14-4) was No. 8 in Division IV.

USV 54, Benjamin Logan 44

Cameron Parker scored 18 points and Lane Hurley had 15 points for the Rams (15-4).

Girls Basketball

Ottoville 68, McComb 31

Annie Lindeman scored 25 points, including six 3-pointers, for Ottoville, which had 14 3-pointers overall, including three by Haley Landwehr. She scored 11 points and was one of 10 players who scored for Ottoville.

Crestview 63, Wayne Trace 46

Crestview raised its record to 21-0 and won its 22nd consecutive home game.

Emily Bauer led the way with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Kennis Mercer scored 11 points and Paige Motycka and Terra Crowle each had 10 points.

Fort Jennings 48, Delphos Jefferson 43

Haley Wittler scored 11 points to lead the Musketeers. Heather Pohlman had 11 points and Jessica Pimpas scored 10 for Jefferson.

Minster 57, Anna 53

A big fourth quarter led Minster to a comeback win. Anna led 40-34 going into the final eight minutes.

Alexis Wuebker led Minster with 17 points and Rosie Westerbeck had 16 points for Minster. Cayla Bensman scored 32 points, including five 3-pointers, for Anna.

Fort Loramie 51, St. Henry 30

Jessica Boerger (15 points) and Janell Hoying (11 points) led Fort Loramie (18-3). Ellie Stammen’s eight points led St. Henry.
