1 injured in rollover crash near Bluffton

BLUFFTON — A passenger was injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash Monday night.

The incident took place at 8:21 p.m. Monday on Interstate 75 near state Route 103 in Hancock County.

Katherine Knepper, 29, of Saginaw, Michigan, was a passenger in the 2008 Ford van. Knepper was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Bluffton EMS for injuries that were not life threatening, according to a statement from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The driver of the vehicle, Janet Knepper, 62, was traveling north on I-75 when the vehicle lost control and traveled off the left side of the highway, into the median and overturned.

Randall Knepper, 60, was also a passenger in the vehicle. He and Janet Knepper are also from Saginaw.

All occupants were wearing their seat belts at the time of the incident. The occupants had to be removed from the vehicle by mechanical means, according to patrol officials.

Janet Knepper was issued a citation for failure to control.
