4 injured in collision

KENTON — None of the four injured passengers in a two-vehicle crash in Hardin County was wearing a seat belt Sunday, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol officials.

At about 7:20 p.m. Sunday at state Route 67 and county Road 215, Bryant Burchett, 26, of Russells Point, was traveling west on state Route 67 when he traveled left of center to pass a vehicle. Burchett’s vehicle collided with one driven by Dawn Vonderau, 25, of Upper Sandusky, in the eastbound lane, according to the patrol.

Burchett, Burchett’s passenger, Briana Mohler, 23, of Lakeview, and Vonderau, and her passenger, Carlos Spalding, 17, of Upper Sandusky, were taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital. Burchett was later taken to Grant Hospital.

Officials said none of their injuries were life-threatening.
