SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — A single vehicle ran into a gas meter Thursday morning, according to the Shawnee Township Police Department.
At 8:34 a.m., police were called to South Dixie Highway in Lima after a car slid into a Dominion gas meter due to the poor road conditions. Officers and Dominion gas employees worked to turn the gas off, and there was no threat of fire, the police department said.
No further information was available Thursday.
