100 block of Haller Street, Lima — A woman told LPD Thursday that her boyfriend of 14 years had assaulted her in their home. She said he has assaulted her in the past.

1031 Richie Ave., Lima — An employee of Buckeye Dental Services said a woman became angry after the dentist told her news she allegedly didn’t want to hear Thursday. The woman then went into the restroom and clogged the toilet with toilet and hand paper towels while cursing.

1300 block of West Market Street, Lima — A woman called LPD Thursday to report that someone had used an unknown item to cause damage to her bedroom window.

1100 block of Bahama Drive, Lima — A man reported Thursday that someone had punctured both of his front tires with an unknown object.

1300 block of Northwold Street, Lima — A man told LPD that an unknown subject had called him Wednesday stating the man’s granddaughter had been arrested in the Dominican Republic and to wire $1,500 to get her out. The man complied and sent another transfer for the same amount the next day. The man then contacted his granddaughter and found out that she was not in jail in the Dominican Republic.

500 block of South Main Street, Lima — A woman said someone broke into her car and stole items from her purse Thursday.

800 block of Bellefontaine Avenue, Lima — Officers responded to a report of shots fired Thursday. There were no reported injuries.

500 block of Brower Road, Lima — Officers reponded to a person attempting to enter an apartment from a balcony Thursday.

1000 block of Burch Avenue, Lima — Officers responded to a report of breaking and entering Friday.
