LIMA — Lima Allen Council on Community Affairs is participating in the annual Point-In-Time Count to be held from sundown until the following sunrise.
LACCA is looking for community volunteers who encounter unsheltered homeless in their work to assist in the count. Workplaces that deal with the homeless may include social service agencies, hospitals and law enforcement.
The count includes a 10-minute interview and will aid in determining the number of people in need of assistance who are not being served. To volunteer, contact Marva Cowan, centralized intake director, at 419-227-2586, ext. 138.
