CELINA — An Ohio Department of Transportation commercial truck collided with a tractor-trailer Monday morning, the Wapakoneta post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported.

At about 4 a.m. Monday at the intersection of U.S. Route 127 and state Route 703, the trucks collided.

Dale T. Lambeth, 63, of Eaton, was driving the tractor-trailer north on U.S. 127 when he failed to see Jerry W. Hughes, 56, of Greenville, patrol officials said. The tractor-trailer is owned by Royalty Trucking.

Hughes, an employee of ODOT, was clearing snow from the intersection in a snowplow. He was reportedly uninjured.

Lambeth was taken to the Coldwater Hospital by Coldwater EMS, according to patrol officials.

He was later taken to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton where he was listed in good condition Monday.
