The Ohio High School Football Coaches Association has announced its 2014 Individual Academic All-Ohio Football Team honorees. The selected seniors were nominated by their coaches, carry at least a 3.6 GPA and were named first team all-county, district or league.
Area honorees include Brody Hoying (Coldwater) Trevor Downing (Kenton), Adam Henderson (Wapakoneta), Noah Beach (Ada), Nick Clure (Coldwater), Robbie Stratton (Bluffton), Blake Pfenning (Wapakoneta) and Kodi Morgan (Wapakoneta).
The OHSFCA also has announced its 2014 Academic All-Ohio Football Team honors. These teams are selected based on the combined GPAs of the top 22 academic players on the team that have earned a varsity letter.
Dover was ranked No. 1. with Wapak coming in at No. 23 and Parkway at No. 65.
