O-G boys earn spot in district finals

WHITEHOUSE — Ottawa-Glandorf advanced to the Division III district finals with a 60-40 victory against Paulding on Thursday night at Anthony Wayne High School.

The Titans held a 24-21 halftime advantage and then broke the game open by outscoring the Panthers 18-9 in the third quarter.

Noah Bramlage had 17 points and Brad Recker scored 12 for O-G. Treston Gonzales had 13 points and Alex Arellano scored 12 for Paulding.

The Titans will play Delta, a 77-63 winner against Swanton, for the district title at 7 p.m. Saturday at Anthony Wayne.

UNOH gets sweep

LIMA — UNOH (11-5, 2-0 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference) overcame a 3-2 deficit in the eighth inning of game one, scoring four times to take a 6-3 win against Indiana Tech (2-5, 0-2 WHAC) and then the Racers pushed across five in the second frame on their way to the 7-3 game two victory.
