ROCKFORD — Beth (Hunziker) Black will be joining three previously announced inductees in the 2015 Parkway Athletic Hall of Fame class.
Black, who earned four varsity letters in basketball, is the school’s career points leader with 1,547 along with steals (339), points per game (17.5), offensive rebounds (318) and free throws made (228) and attempted (370). Among her other school marks are field goals made in a season (179) and steals in a game (12). Black also was member of Parkway’s 1989-90 and 1990-91 sectional championship teams.
Black will be inducted into the hall along with Mike Schumm, Galen Schumm and Roger Craft between the JV and varsity boys games Jan. 24 when Parkway plays Bradford. For more information contact Parkway Athletic Director Doug Hughes at 419-363-3045, extension 774.
