I was saddened but not surprised to see the article in The Lima News regarding Dr. Henry Gerad’s dismissal from St. Rita’s Medical Center.
Dr. Gerad has been a steady fixture in St. Rita’s’ excellent doctor workforce for many years. I’m sure he will be greatly missed by his patients. I was not surprised by him being let go due to the downsizing over the years by St. Rita’s.
Shame on St. Rita’s.
