A pair of shoes I’ll never forget

A special “thank you ” to a “special lady” who works at a special hose and shoe business.

Dr. Ellis and his staff of wonderful people have been insisting I must wear support stockings, and should be wearing diabetic shoes. Hose cost $49 and up. Shoes, $80 to $200. Due to finances, I put this aside for many months.

Last November, I woke up early in the morning, and the Lord was impressing to me, go buy your hose today. In the Bible, Like Jacob, I was wrestling with God, saying we really do not have the money. But that morning, I went, purchased the stockings and the “lady” and I were talking about shoes. I told her I did not have the money to buy diabetic shoes that day, but wanted her to show me some. I sat down and tried some on. One pair felt like I was walking on air. She put my old shoes in the box, stood up, gave me a big hug and said, “Merry Christmas.”

Proverbs 3:6 “In all thy ways acknowledge Him (God) and He shall direct thy path.” Because of this “special lady” I have Christmas everyday with a pair of diabetic shoes. To her, “a special thank you,” and to God be the glory. Great things He has done!
