St. Henry’s Ryan Mikesell was named Player of the Year in boys basketball in the Midwest Athletic Conference and the Redskins’ Eric Rosenbeck was named Coach of the Year.
Delphos St. John’s Andy Grothouse was one 12 players named to the first team, which includes three NCAA Division I recruits — Versailles’ Kyle Ahrens (Michigan State), Marion Local’s Luke Knapke (Toledo) and Mikesell (Dayton).
The other first-team players are: Aaron Harlamert (Coldwater), Derek Thobe (Coldwater), Ryan Bruns (Marion Local), Matthew Trushaw (Minster), Carson Manger (New Bremen), Jalen Fullenkamp (New Knoxville), Tanner Bates (Parkway), and Mitch Stammen (St. Henry).
