LIMA — A woman overturned her vehicle as she was leaving Sugar Creek Township.

At 9:28 a.m. Tuesday along state Route 115 (North West Street) in Sugarcreek Township, near state Route 65, Rochelle K. Branham, 26, of Defiance, was traveling south when her vehicle traveled over the left side of the road, according to officials.

Branham’s vehicle struck the guardrail and overturned, officials with the Lima post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said. Branham was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash and did not report any injuries.

The OSHP said there was no report of distracted driving during the time of the incident, which includes cellphone activity.

Branham was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Impala. The vehicle was considered totaled. She was able to exit the car herself. The patrol officials said the Impala’s airbags did not deploy.

Crews were on scene until 10:55 a.m. patrol officials said.
