LIMA — The Ohio Department of Transportation is selling two properties at auction, according to a news release from the department.
The first property is a 2.6 acre lot located at the intersection of state Route 117/Bellefontaine Avenue and Greely Chapel Road. All utilities are available at the interstate commerce site.
The second property is a 0.4 acre lot located at the north side of the intersection of state Route 309/Elida Road and Robb Avenue The property is along a major traffic corridor leading to the Lima Mall and other retail, restaurant and hospitality businesses. All utilities are available at the location.
The properties will be at auction on Jan. 29 beginning at 6 p.m., at the ODOT District 1 headquarters at 1885 N. McCullough St. in Lima.
The auction will be held in the main conference room (room 39). Registration will begin at 5 p.m.
Auction participants may enter the District 1 office at the main entrance located on the northeast side of the building.
An agent from Straley Realty of Van Wert, which is conducting the auction, will be on site at each property from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday and Jan. 22.
