Bluffton library plans adult spelling bee

BLUFFTON — The Bluffton Public Library has announced its first adult spelling bee, where adults are encouraged to dress up in bee colors or wear “geek glasses.”

Anyone over age 13 may participate in the event on at 6 p.m. Thursday at the library, 145 S. Main St., Bluffton. Participants will be able to register to participate until the day of the event.

Photography for the event will be by Elysian Fields Photography and will be featured on the library’s website and social media.

Half of every donation will go towards the cash grand prize, while the other half will go towards the Bluffton Area United Way.
