LIMA — Fifty sirens throughout Allen County will be tested at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday.

The time for the siren tests are typically at noon, however the time change is to align with the statewide tornado drill that is scheduled for 9:50 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Allen County Emergency Management Agency.

Tests are conducted every month on the first Wednesday. In the event of an emergency, the sirens are an indication that people in the area should go indoors and consult local news media for additional information and instructions on any actions to be taken.
