FINDLAY — The Findlay Police Department was notified of a robbery in progress Sunday.

Just after 8:30 p.m. at a Subway restaurant at 753 W. Trenton Ave., a man entered the store. Findlay police officials said he was white, 30 to 40 years old, 5-foot-9-inches to 5-foot-10-inches tall, and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

The man gave the store employee a note demanding money from the register and had his hand inside the pocket of the sweatshirt, according to police officials, “as though he had a weapon but no weapon was observed.”

The employee gave the man an undetermined amount of cash, and the man ran from the store southbound.
