FINDLAY — Marathon Petroleum Corp. has sold one of its terminals to another company, U.S. Oil.

Findlay-based Marathon sold its Milwaukee terminal, which is located at 9125 N. 107th St., according to a release from U.S. Oil.

For U.S. Oil, the petroleum and energy distribution division of U.S. Venture, the terminal will increase its capacity by 530,000 barrels and expand its distribution reach to 20 terminals.

U.S. Oil is planning to upgrade technology at its new facility and said the sale improves on its relationship with Marathon, according to the release.

“U.S. Oil has an excellent reputation in terminal operations and management. We expect the transition to go smoothly,” said John S. Swearingen, a senior vice president at Marathon Petroleum Corp., in a statement.
