BLUFFTON — The Senior Citizens Association of Bluffton will soon celebrate its 45th anniversary.

The association started in 1970 when a few ministers came up with the idea. The association operates as a center where seniors socialize, exercise and do activities.

The center is located at 132 N. Main St. and hosts several events as well as organizes trips.

“There are many things for [seniors] to do and many things for them to come check out and buy,” said Tonya Meyer, director of the association. “[Don’t] be afraid to walk in the door.”
