GOMER — June Streeter, of Gomer, is celebrating her 90th birthday today, Jan. 11, 2015. A family celebration is planned.
She was born Jan. 11, 1925, to Willis and Ruth Dackin. On Jan. 22, 1950, she married Carl A. Streeter, and he died Jan. 15, 2012.
Streeter has one son, David (Becky) Streeter, of Gomer; and three daughters, Carol (Terry) Turner, of Goshen, Diane (Vince) Campbell of Atlanta and Linda (Kim DeVita) Nichols of Gomer. She has 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She has one younger brother, Gerald Dackin, who is 88 years-old.
Streeter is a retired registered nurse. She graduated from Lima Memorial School of Nursing.
She is a member of Gomer United Church of Christ.
