LIMA — Berneta K. Brubaker, of Lima, will celebrate her 90th birthday March 17, 2015. A card shower is requested. Cards may be sent to her c/o Elmcroft Assisted Living, Apt. 314, 2075 N. Eastown Road, Lima, OH 45807.
She was born March 17, 1925 to Daniel and Hattie Fruth. On Feb. 14, 1946, she married Wendell E. Brubaker. They just celebrated 69 years of marriage this year.
Brubaker has two daughters, Cheryl Smith, of Lima and Connie Von Deylon, of Napoleon. She has five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was employed by Chiles and Sons Laman Funeral Home in Lima for many years. She also used to bake cakes for many years.
Brubaker is a member of Gomer Congregational Church, the Eastern Star and Fort Amanda Masonic Lodge 706.
