SPRINGFIELD (AP) — A teenage murder suspect who escaped from custody while being treated at a western Ohio hospital has been caught.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office says 17-year-old Raymond Matthew Zimmerman was returned to custody Saturday. WHIO-TV in Dayton reported that its photographer witnessed police in Fairborn take Zimmerman into custody around 10:20 a.m.

The sheriff’s office expected to release further details later Saturday.

Zimmerman had been seen running away from the Springfield Regional Medical Center Friday night wearing an orange jail jumpsuit and no shoes. The public was warned that the sheriff’s office considered Zimmerman dangerous.

Sheriff’s officials released identifying information that included an injury to his lip, along with tattoos on his right upper arm that say “California” and “Ohio” and praying hands on his left upper arm.

Zimmerman and an 18-year-old were arrested last week in the shooting death of William Henson, Zimmerman’s uncle, authorities said. Deputies found Henson’s body last week in his home last week, which they said was robbed of guns.
