LIMA — Dr. and Mrs. Franklin Hartman, of Lima, will celebrate 60 years of marriage March 6, 2015. An open house is planned from 2 to 4 p.m., March 7th, at Bluelick Baptist Church, 1138 W. Bluelick Road, Lima.
Dr. Hartman and the former Beverly Binkley were married March 6, 1955, in Spencerville.
They are the parents of five children: Franklin (Karen) Hartman Jr., Donald Lee (Danelle Bruin-Hartman) Hartman, Rebecca Sue (Marc) Rinker, Rick Jason (Tracy Howton-Hartman) Hartman and Jon Wesley Hartman. They have 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Dr. Hartman earned a Doctorate in Theology at Midwestern Baptist College and is retired as Pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Elida. His wife is also retired from many years with K-Mart corporation.
