LIMA — During the mayor’s news conference Wednesday, the Lima Family YMCA announced that several events will take place in February.
On Feb. 4, the YMCA’s Travel Adventure Cinema Series will feature the film “Venture to Alaska” at 7 p.m. at South Side Christian Church. Tickets are $5 for adults and free for students.
The YMCA will also hold a father-daughter dance from 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 7. Tickets are free for members and $5 for nonmembers and must be reserved by calling the front desk at 419-223-6045.
The YMCA No School Day will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 16, giving children in kindergarten through fourth grade time to enjoy fun activities and gym games. Tickets are $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers. Participants are asked to bring a packed lunch, a swimsuit and towel.
