The 2024 election is nearly here. Are you ready? I have been somewhat on the fence. There are good and not-so-good points being made on all the candidates and issues. For me, after doing some studying, it all came down to the party platforms and which one I feel is better for our nation.
Kamala Harris is pretty and has a nice smile and is someone who I think would be very effective at the local level. However, now is not the time for a pretty face serving as our president. I have not seen any substantial national or international leadership accomplishment from her. I do not think she could effectively lead our nation with the world issues before us. She would not receive the respect required to deal with some world leaders. She just does not appear to be very presidential. She’s more of a hostess or tour guide.
Donald Trump may not be the communicator that President Ronald Reagan or President John F. Kennedy was, but he gets his points across. Trump has achieved success in business. He knows how to get the extra 10% from a deal. He has the respect of most world leaders. He has acted quickly when a crisis occurs. He just acts more presidential.
