When has it become OK for a candidate to lie?
As an example: Bernie Moreno said that Sherrod Brown voted for transpeople to be able to compete in girl sports. I would hope that, since Moreno is running for a U.S. Senate position, he would have done some homework and realize that Ohio already left that issue to the schools and leagues. He is just one example.
I do think it should be against the law to lie about anything when you are running for a political position. When has that become acceptable? There are a lot of people that do not check these facts and believe them to be true.
