LIMA — A Lima man received a deal from prosecutors Friday in the Allen County Common Pleas Court in his case dealing with aggravated robbery and felonious assault.
The deal for Jeremiah Washington, 20, includes the first-degree felony robbery charge to be reduced to a second-degree felony with the three-year firearm specification still included. The second-degree felony assault charge would remain the same but the three-year firearm specification attached would be reduced to one year. The prosecution would make no sentencing recommendation.
Court documents said on July 17, Allen County Sheriff’s deputies responded to Bill’s Drive Thru at 2135 N. West St., Lima, due to someone who was allegedly shot in the arm by Washington. Washington fled to an apartment complex on Brower Road where he was arrested.
Washington is being held in the Allen County Jail on a $150,000 bond. A final pretrial is set for Jan. 10 and a jury trial is scheduled to begin Feb. 11.
