Howlin’ at the Moon Indoor Music Fest

1-7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday

The Howlin’ at the Moon Indoor Music Fest will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Howard Johnson hotel, 1920 Roschman Ave. in Lima.

Anyone can get $30 one-day tickets or $50 two-day tickets to the event that features live county, gospel and bluegrass music, as well as crafters, a kids arcade, a pool and spa, food vendors, rooms and a restaurant/lounge.

Authentic Unlimited, the Kevin Prater Band and New Outlook will be some of the bands performing.

Kids under 14 get in free.

The hotel is also offering room specials.

Rob Schneider: Rescue Husband

7 p.m. Friday

Stand-up comedian Rob Schneider will perform his show “Rescue Husband” at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25 at the Veterans Memorial Civic Center, 7 Town Square in Lima.

The “Saturday Night Live” veteran is a three-time Emmy winner.

Halloween Party at Shawnee Station

6:30-9:30 p.m. Saturday

There will be a Halloween party from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at 2228 Shawnee Road in Lima.

The party will host food and drink specials, live music and prizes for best costumes.

Weird World Artist Market

1-7 p.m. Saturday

Local artist Ryan Stechschulte will hold the Weird World Artist Market from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Ohio Theatre, 128 W. North St., Lima.

The free event will feature local artists and vendors, trick-or-treating and a Halloween costume contest.

Undivided: A Unity Concert

3 p.m. Sunday

Legacy Lima will perform at Undivided: A Unity Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27 at St. John Catholic Church, 777 S. Main St., Lima.

Anyone can come to this free concert with a nonperishable food item to donate to Our Daily Bread and Churches United Pantry to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the church.

An open reception featuring the citywide choir will follow the event.

Ohio State Beauty Academy Talent Showcase: 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24 —The Ohio State Beauty Academy will hold a Talent Showcase “Pixar: Animated Inspiration” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24 at 1450 N. Cable Road, Lima. Anyone can attend the free event at the UNOH Event Center to see models displaying makeup, hairstyles, nail art and costume designs inspired by Pixar movies produced by more than 30 students.

Pumpkin Paint and Sip: 6-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25 —The Ladies Night Out Pumpkin Paint and Sip will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25 at Whitetail Acres 2276 W. Breese Road, Lima.
