Oct. 16

Narissa S. Woten, Continental, was found in contempt of court orders by remaining in the marital home as of July 15. She was ordered to pay the plaintiff $250 in reimbursement in attorney fees.

Oct. 17

Robert T. Horstman, Kalida, is awarded judgment against Jeffrey A. Hoyt, Columbus Grove, and Kathleen A. Hoyt, Columbus Grove, and JK Hoyt Enterprises, LCC, Columbus Grove, in the amount of $270,382.96 as of April 30, plus interest and costs. The plaintiff also agrees to forgo any action to enforce this judgment until 30 days after receipt of a decision from the defendant’s insurance carrier in regard to their claim resulting from the fire that occurred March 16, or until Jan. 3, 2025, whichever occurs first.

Putnam County Municipal dispositions

Oct. 15

Efrain A. Lopez-Gonzalez, 32, Leipsic, pleaded no contest to animals running at large and was found guilty. Sentence: 30 days jail, suspended, $100 fine, must have no similar offense for two years.

Brandon E. Nieto, 25, Leipsic, was fined $50 each for two counts of rabies quarantine.

Oct. 17

Justin M. Bailey, 42, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, 24 days suspended, $250 fine, with credit for six days served upon completion of DIP. A charge of headlights required was dismissed.

Kristal Danner, 37, Pandora, charged with domestic violence, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.
