WAPAKONETA — The Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office will hand out BBQ chicken and rib dinners to benefit Project Auglaize County Addiction Response Team from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16 in the Aldi parking lot, 1246 Bellefontaine St., Wapakoneta.
Dinner choices include a half chicken for $12 or half slab of ribs for $15 with potato salad, apple sauce and a dinner roll with butter. Tickets can be purchased at the event or in advance by calling Brittany Boneta at 567-279-4095.
Project ACART uses a peer support specialist to assist clients in connecting with community resources; offer compassionate, non-judgmental emotional support to individuals facing mental health and addiction challenges; and offer hope by showing that recovery is possible, no matter the challenges.
